The old woman in the forest was me

Last summer I experienced something very special after using plant medicine. I was walking through the forest and with my minds eye I saw this old woman walking in front of me. She was pure light, strong and resilient.
I followed her. I was drawn to her. Until I became one with her. And finally I understood it was me all along.
So often we don’t see our own light. Our own greatness. Our worthiness. But we see it in others
A dream
For the past month, I've been having a recurring dream. I dreamt I was guiding people in the forest. There was a big group of men and women. We were connecting to earth while meditating. This dream has been reminding me about what we humans forgot, that the earth is not a backdrop to our busy lives — it is our medicine, our teacher, our home. I’ve been sitting with myself in nature, asking my heart: “Show me the way”
And even if I haven’t received total clarity, I’ve understood that Queenformation isn’t my way any longer. There is something else calling me..
Failure?
Queenformation was born in August 2021. From a deep longing to guide women on the same journey that I was on. It’s been a rollercoaster of emotions and learnings. In August 2024, Lena became my business partner after being with me from the very beginning, and together we created our Signature program “Unleash Your Worthy Woman” It’s been a beautiful journey with joy, laughter and deep awakening, but also challenging times when two strong women are doing their inner work at the same time. Lena went through a divorce and chose to take the role behind the scenes and I've been the one taking the lead as you all know. We each carried what we could carry, in the season we were in.
Am I failing now, leaving all I've built behind? I catch myself with these questions sometimes.But then I chose to be kind to myself, to Lena. To honour our journey together. To be proud of what we built together. To celebrate all the women we've helped through those years. Mostly I want to celebrate Lena, my dear friend, ‘partner in crime’ who’s always been there for me in highs and lows. I wish every living woman had a ‘Lena’ in their life. I celebrate her for her courage to step up now when I chose to step away. Her passion for the work we’ve been doing gives me goosebumps and I’m so excited to see where she’s taking Queenformation from now on.
I believe in my heart that the best of Queenformation is still to come. That the women who need it most haven't even found it yet. And I know — I just know — that Lena is the one to guide them there. I ask you to bring her the same love and trust you've given me.
I want to remind you, beautiful you, who’s reading this right now. If you come to a point in life where you doubt your decisions, feel like a failure. Pause for a moment and give yourself time to listen to your heart. What if, where you are right now is where you’re supposed to be. Allow yourself to lean into the fear and let it guide you. Chose to be grateful for you. Be grateful for the ones you have in your life. And chose to trust yourself.
I will be forever grateful for Lena and for all of you who've been reading my love letters, responding with so much love. When we women come together, we become each other's medicine.

And just like Lena steps into Queenformation with a full heart, I step into my next chapter with a new name — Marie Meritsdotter. A name I've taken to honour my mother in heaven. A reminder of where I come from, as I walk toward where I'm going.
